J Cs Pizzaria in Salem

My cat's litter box looked and smelled BETTER then the men's restroom when I entered. I don't think it has been cleaned or updated in 40 years. the dining area looks like it's straight out of the 80s complete with walls that look unfinished and cheaply made. This used to be a pretty cool place but due to lack of care this place has really gone downhill.

Excellent pizza, great lunch special, historic building and friendly staff!

Some of us from a support group met up here and it was wonderful service and food. Thank you so much!

Great place to go especially if you're looking for a place to throw a birthday party or whatever event.

Wonderful, crispy crust, savory pepperoni, hot melted cheese, and the BEST ranch dressing I've ever had!

So wrong!! Ordered three smalls two of them were wrong. Both were supposed to have Canadian bacon, put pepperoni on instead. When told it was wrong, instead of making a new one, they cut up some Canadian bacon heated it under a light and threw it on the pizza, saying "here you go". Not only was it still wrong, but the Canadian bacon was like cold rubber. Needless to say, so gross I didn't eat it!!

Atmosphere: a whole lot of chaos. Kids running around the entire place.Bathrooms: need to be deeply cleaned. Smell gawd awful in the bathrooms like old pee.Cleanliness: Not bad but could be better. It was busy with 2 birthday parties. But still tables could be bussed and sanitized for next customer.Food: amazing pizza. Also we had deep fried cauliflower. That as well was yummy.

This was the PERFECT place to have lunch before we left the area. Especially with 5 boys (7 if you count our husbands!! Lol). But to have the kids entertained while the "adults" enjoyed each other's company was great!!! My cousin and I have just been reunited after all these years, through Ancestry.com and to be able to make memories with all of them in this cozy Pizzaria meant the world to both... No! ALL of us!!!

Simple menu, simple flavor and very dated but they have the old school video games and that makes it worth going there

Great food. Very delicious. However, their bathroom.... is disgusting! My poor daughter refused to use the woman's bathroom because it was so gross. Her father then took her into the men's room. She refused to even walk near the toilet. It was that bad.

AYCE pizza and soda buffet for lunch for 5.99! Pizza was exactly the kind I love! Cheesy toppings, crispy crust, and flavorful! We brought 13 middle school kids that had a blast playing the old school games and air hockey. Real wood fires scatter the areas. The place is nothing fancy but so wonderfully inviting! All the employees were so helpful!

Great pizza! Delicious deep fried appetizers. Very casual 80s retro vibe, complete with the arcade games.

You can also bring your own cheese/and certain ingredients for Vegan Options . THAT'S going the Extra mile for clients. They have a Huge Party pizza that is out of this world ! Pizza was okay, not the best. Super greasy, gave us the wrong order. Soda was flat, and the bathrooms stunk so bad just walking passed. Looks to me as if the bottom wall of the women restroom is rotting out. I don’t know about men’s, my husband said the urinals were brown and Uncleaned. I would not recommend this place.

Fun place had a baby shower and the staff was very accommodating and courteous. Great place for the kids lots of games and plenty of noise LOL

Friendly staff, interesting crust and good pizza. We didn't get plates though and trying to feed our 3 year old off greasy napkins was a challenge I wasn't ready for at 6:30pm on a day that started with a 5am waking. We probably won't be back to dine in with her after that one but seems like it could be fun for adults on the weekend.

Pizza is amazing here.. If you dont like very doughy pizza this is the perfect place to come.. Me and my whole family have been coming here since i was a kid

Slightly overpriced for what you get, as a lot of pizza places seem to be honestly, but delicious pizza. They really need to lower the price of their mushrooms or give you more though. We stopped ordering them because what you get only feeds about one person. You must try their Spuds, they are the best. Order in advance if you want it to go, otherwise you'll be waiting forever

I've loved JC'S for many years. Best pizza in the NW. I don't live close anymore so I always make a special stop when I'm in the Salem area.

Don’t let the building foul you. This is some great pizza.

Decent prices for decent beer and pizza but it tends to be really loud and chaotic. The arcade game collection is more sad than anything and the claw machine is an even bigger RIP ripoff than than claw machines usually are. Each time my daughter tried it the claw would dip for a half second and then immediately go back up.

The pizza was good and I enjoy going there. Its a relaxing place to eat and have a cold beer.

Great pizza. Guy at the counter is cool but one of the girls that works there acts like it’s such an inconvenience to take your order. She also got very annoyed at me when I told her she gave us the wrong pizza.

I usually love this place but every time I order take home they always get it wrong. It’s about a 40 min drive to this location so it’s not like I’m going to drive all the way back if they get my order wrong. I ordered 3 pizzas 2 with meat and 1 with just olive and mushrooms they all came with meat. We called just to let them know. It’s just so annoying because we all have been stuck in the house for weeks and we thought let’s get pizza and get outside and it’s Easter Sunday so why not. Anyway I guess I’ll just have to always check my order before leaving the restaurants.

Really above average pizza, and wonderful fried food selection. The deep fried mushrooms are top notch! There's also a lot of seating area, and the staff most quickly to get you your food. JC's Pizza is actually a hidden gem and one of the best if not the best pizza joints in Salem.

Man, an old friend and I went here for nostalgia's sake, but the pizza just isn't what I remembered. Looks the same except the front door.

We went for father's day we were sadly disappointed. As the music came on we felt we were in a night club it was so loud we were yelling to talk to each other. Staff handled it very rudly.

Pizza is good. There are steps to most tables but there are two sections that have no stairs, ideal for those with mobility issues and using canes, walkers or wheelchairs. Only negative was that the handicapped toilet did not have grab bars, making it more difficult to sit!/stand
